Drake lives in District 3 — a place of rust, smoke, and endless machinery. He remembers nothing of his life before the crash five years ago, only the shadows that visit him in his dreams. To escape the emptiness, he takes Dust, a drug that blurs the line between memory and illusion. But when the past begins to repeat itself, Drake’s search for the truth draws the attention of the Empire — a regime of steel and silence that rules the mega-city from above. In a world where surveillance never sleeps and rebellion festers underground, one memory could bring the whole system down. But as the Empire closes in, reality begins to slip—and the ghosts in his mind start to look back. RUST CITY is a dystopian story of control, desire, and awakening.
